The firm manages portfolios invested in equity and fixed-income across regions sectors and market caps with a primary focus on the Malaysian and Asian markets. They use investment vehicles such as equity and fixed-income funds as well as balanced funds and fund of funds. The firm also manages Islamic Shariah compliant portfolios. OSK-UOB aims to exploit market inefficiencies through intensive research. They combine top-down asset allocation based on macroeconomic analyses and bottom-up stockpicking based on fundamental research. Once the asset allocation has been determined the firm selects stocks assessing fundamental quantitative and qualitative factors such as P.E., P.E. to growth, dividend growth, dividend yield, price-book value, quality of earnings (volatility, sustainability, visibility), balance sheets, competitive risks, profit margin, cash-flow analysis, quality of management, and corporate governance. As a fixed-income investor OSK-UOB also aims to identify value investments through fundamental analysis with a focus on interest rate and yield curve evolutions. They use market timing techniques and futures contracts to manage risk.

KSC invests in both the Malaysian and Asian markets.

CDPL manages clients’ assets based on the eclectic value investing philosophy. The firm seeks capital appreciation while reducing the margin of error when investing.

Functions as an alternative investment manager

Analog Capital invests in companies located in Asia primarily in Singapore. The firm focuses on the technology sector such as B2B software, AI and digital services. It participates in seed to growth stage transactions. The firm acts a lead investor and makes co-investments.
