Scott Sleyster

Mr. Scott G. Sleyster, CFA MBA, is a COO-International Businesses & Executive VP at Prudential Financial, Inc., a Chief Investment Officer & Senior Vice President at The Prudential Variable Contract Real Property Account, an Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of International Businesses at The Prudential Insurance Co. of America and a Member at The New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc. He oversees Prudential’s International Insurance segment, which develops, distributes and services individual life insurance, retirement and related financial security products to markets around the globe. Since joining Prudential, Mr. Sleyster has served in a variety of leadership positions, most recently as chief investment officer, managing Prudential’s $460 billion general account portfolio. He also has served as head of the Full-Service Retirement business, president of the Guaranteed Products business and chief financial officer for the Employee Benefits Division. Additionally, he has held roles in Prudential’s Treasury, Derivatives and Investment Management units. Mr. Sleyster was previously employed as a Chief Investment Officer & Senior Vice President by The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Inc. He also served on the board at Pruco Life Insurance Co., Pruco Life Insurance Company of New Jersey, Pruco Life of New Jersey Variable Contract Real Property A/C and Pruco Life Variable Contract Real Property Account. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Northwestern University.
