NFU Mutual Investment is an active, prudent, long-term manager which offers a range of mutually-managed and market selection funds for client, all of which are managed in line with their core values. The firm conducts in-house research to identify potential investment opportunities, seeking to invest in financially sound, stable businesses with predictable future revenues and profits. Where appropriate they also supplement their views with bespoke research from specialist external companies. NFU Mutual Investment only buys government stocks and investment grade corporate bonds, rather than high yield ‘junk’ bonds that bring a higher risk. They mainly invest in large, blue-chip multinational companies and are very selective about smaller, newer companies. Their real estate investments tend to be in prime real estate rather than second tier properties, which are likely to be more sensitive to market movements.
