Richard Henry Meddings

Richard Henry Meddings is currently the Chairman of NHS England, Director of HM Treasury, Director of International Chamber of Commerce UK, Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and Trustee of Teach First.
Previously, he served as the Non-Executive Chairman and Executive Chairman of TSB Bank Plc, Independent Non-Executive Director of Credit Suisse Group AG, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of 3i Group Plc, Independent Non-Executive Director of Legal & General Group Plc, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director and Group Finance Director of Standard Chartered Plc, and Group Finance Director of Woolwich Ltd. He was also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Alliance Trust Plc, JLT Group Holdings Ltd., and Deutsche Bank AG.
Additionally, he was a Member of The Indo-British Partnership Network and served as the Head-Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions at Hill Samuel Bank.
Mr. Meddings holds a graduate degree from the University of Oxford and an undergraduate degree from Exeter College.
