Dr. Bhat started at Polar Asset Management Partners in 2009 as a Risk Manager, and in 2010 joined the portfolio management team analyzing closed-end funds and structured products arbitrage.
Prior to joining Polar, he worked at Columbia University as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist with the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics.
He holds a B.Sc.
in Chemistry and Physics from Queen's University (1996) and a Ph.D.
in Theoretical Physics from the University of Toronto (2005).
