Ms. Sauter grew up in Graceville, Florida, where she graduated high school with honors.
She received an academic scholarship to Agnes Scott College in Atlanta and graduated in 2001 with a BA in Economics and Business.
At Agnes Scott, she was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society, and was a leader in student government.
Prior to coming to Patten & Patten, she worked in both the insurance and legal industries.
She and her family moved to the Chattanooga area in July of 2005.
