China Chengxin International Credit Rating Co., Ltd. (CCXI) is a domestic credit rating agency in the People’s Republic of China. The firm was founded by Dr. Zhen Hua Mao in 1992 through a joint venture between Beijing Zhixiang Information Management Constancy Co Ltd. & Moody’s China (BVI) Ltd. Headquartered in Beijing, CCXI specializes in providing rating opinions on bonds which are publicly traded on or are privately placed through China’s interbank market. They assign credit ratings for various instruments, including without limitation, MTNs, short-term financing bonds, enterprise bonds, financial institution bonds, corporate bonds, private placement bonds for M&A financing, structured finance products and other fixed income instruments.
