Mr. John J.
Solecki is Vice President at Horizon Asset Management LLC.
He joined the firm in 2006 and is responsible for relationships with Horizon Kinetics' direct client base, focusing on Institutional clients.
Prior to this, he was a Senior Managing Director of Institutional Sales and Marketing with Mesirow Financial Inc where he was responsible for advising institutions, families and individuals on various aspects of their investments.
Previously, Mr. Solecki held senior positions with Paine Webber and Kemper Securities after beginning his career in municipal finance.
He is the former President of the Harvey M.
Rice Foundation, a twenty-year active member of the Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems and a former Executive Board Member of the Epilepsy Board of Michigan.
Mr. Solecki received a BS in Economics from Cornell University.
