Mr. Jim Pfertner is a Senior Director & Portfolio Manager at Invesco Advisers, Inc. His current duties include fundamental and securities research on real asset securities.
Mr. Pfertner began his investment career in 2001 and joined Invesco in 2013.
Prior to joining Invesco, he was a director at Highland Capital Management, LP, where he focused on identifying investment opportunities in both debt and equity investments.
In addition, he managed a portfolio of commercial mortgage-backed securities, real estate investment trusts, syndicated loans and equity real estate investments.
Previously, he was an investment analyst for PGIM Real Estate Finance, underwriting commercial and multifamily properties across the US for debt investment opportunities.
Mr. Pfertner also held various roles with JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley.
He earned a BA degree in economics from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
