Evelyn Rutagwenda

Evelyn Kamagaju Rutagwenda is currently serving as the Vice Chairman at Rwandan Development Bank SA. She is also the Chairman at Crystal Telecom Ltd. since 2017.
Additionally, she holds the position of Vice Chairman at Rwanda Development Board and Chairman at MTN Rwandacell Ltd. Evelyn is a Non-Executive Director at Equity Bank Uganda Ltd. and a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda.
In her former roles, Ms. Rutagwenda served as the Non-Executive Chairman at Equity Bank Rwanda Ltd. She was also a Director at Total Uganda Ltd. Furthermore, she held the position of Director at Victoria Motors Rwanda Ltd. from 2013 to 2019.
Evelyn was an Independent Non-Executive Director at Equity Group Holdings Plc from 2015 to 2023.
She also served as the Secretary at Uganda National Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Ms. Rutagwenda completed her undergraduate degree at Makerere University.
