Effie Wolle

Mr. Lorne E.
Wolle, CFA MBA, is a President & Chief Investment Officer at GFI Investment Counsel Ltd.
He joined the firm in 2007.
From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Wolle was Director of Risk Management at Morrison Financial.
While at Morrison, he worked side by side with senior management, overseeing operational and strategic changes.
His primary focus was in the information technology, software, and personnel industries.
Prior to joining Morrison, Mr. Wolle was an Actuarial Associate at Hewitt Associates, where he worked with multinational corporations on all aspects of their defined benefit pension plans.
While at Hewitt, he completed three Society of Actuaries examinations.
He completed his Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Actuarial Science from The University of Western Ontario and, in 2005, he graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business.
Mr. Wolle is a CFA charter holder.
