Cerrado Gold Inc. is a Canada-based gold production, development, and exploration company. The Company 100% owns the Minera Don Nicolas (MDN) and Las Calandrias mine in Santa Cruz province, Argentina. Its Minera Don Nicolas property is located in the Deseado Massif in the province of Santa Cruz, approximately 333,340 hectares (ha) of concessions. The Las Calandrias II properties consist of over 3,927 ha of concessions directly adjacent to the MDN property. The Company is also focused on the development and exploration of the highly prospective Lagoa Salgada VMS project located on the prolific Iberian Pyrite Belt in Portugal, which is located over 80 kilometers from Lisbon. The Lagoa Salgada project is a high-grade polymetallic project, of zinc, copper, lead, tin, silver, and gold. It is also developing 100% owned Mont Sorcier project, located on the traditional Cree territory of Eeyou Istchee James Bay in the municipality of Chibougamau.
