Zorlu Electric Retail Sales Company supports the Plastic Cap Collection Campaign

OEPSAŞ (Osmangazi Perakende Elektrik Satış AŞ), the retail electricity sales company of Zorlu Enerji, which operates with the vision of being the energy company of the future, participated in the Plastic Cap Collection Campaign organized on behalf of the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralysis Association, together with all its employees and stakeholders. Zorlu Enerji will collect tons of plastic caps to recycle through the campaign. The company aims to support individuals who need a wheelchair.

Operating in Afyonkarahisar, Bilecik, Eskişehir, Kütahya, and Uşak, OEPSAŞ is the retail electricity sales company of Zorlu Enerji, which puts sustainability at the center of its business model. The company participated in the Plastic Cap Collection Campaign organized on behalf of the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralysis Association (TOFD). Along with raising environmental and social awareness, OEPSAŞ also aims to raise awareness about spinal cord paralysis by collecting plastic caps with its employees and all stakeholders.

As part of the Spinal Cord Paralysis Association's campaign, 1 manual wheelchair is supplied in exchange for an average of 350 kilograms of plastic cups collected. Also, 1 battery-operated wheelchair is provided with 3.5-ton cups.

Stating that plastic pollution was one of the biggest environmental problems of time, Zorlu Enerji Osmangazi Electricity Retail Director Cihan Ertunç added: "We started to support the Plastic Cap Collection Campaign of the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralysis Association with the plastic cap collection points that we installed in our offices following the request of our colleagues.Our goal is to work together with all our stakeholders to provide the highest possible benefit to the campaign. We will ensure the recycling of the caps we collect through the Plastic Cap Collection Campaign. Also, with the income to be obtained, we will be pleased to help individuals with spinal cord paralysis reach one of their essential needs, battery-operated and manual wheelchairs. I wholeheartedly believe that all our stakeholders, especially our colleagues, will support the campaign that serves such good purposes.
