Sankranti is one of the most important festivals in Andhra
Pradesh. Teluguites celebrate it for 3 days - Bhogi,
Sankranti and Kanuma. During this festival entire state is
filled with joy and rejoices the New Year in life.
Keeping in mind how important this festival is to Telugites,
Zee Telugu has organized a special festival event by bringing
all leading Telugu Television stars under one roof to come
and celebrate this festival of joy.
With active participation of over 100 Telugu Television
stars, this is the biggest Sankranti celebration on Telugu
Television. During the event the audience can see how the
various celebrities compete with others in various
traditional games like Kabadi, Volleyball, Tug-of-war,
Musical Chairs, Antakshari and Kolatam!
These celebrities were treated with a traditional Telugu
lunch with a lot of mouth watering festive special dishes on
a plantain leaf.
Well the fun doesn't stop here, after a day of hard play
during the evening all celebrities enjoy rain dance followed
by prize distribution ceremony to the winners of the games
and dance performances. This grand event was hosted by
Koushik, Bhavana and Pradeep all 3 are well known among the
TV audiences.
