DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - Jan. 30, 2018 - Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), the market leader in rugged mobile computers, barcode scanners and barcode printers enhanced with software and services to enable real-time enterprise visibility, is working with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), providing new specialized healthcare technology solutions to enable the digital transformation of the emirate's healthcare sector. As part of the DHA's new Salama unified electronic medical record (EMR) system, the new collaboration with Zebra provides enhanced patient identification and mobile access to medical data - from patient admission to bedside to discharge.

Zebra manages the deployment of a broad range of healthcare solutions including Zebra MC40-HC healthcare purposed mobile computers, Zebra DS8178-HC scanner, Zebra QLn220-HC and HC100 printers as well as Z-Band® UltraSoft wristbands. These products are specifically designed to meet the unique demands of the healthcare environment, in conjunction with DHA's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and clinical team requirements.
