Yokowo Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 11,569 million against JPY 14,975 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 426 million against JPY 1,175 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 242 million or JPY 11.95 per basic share against JPY 694 million or JPY 34.32 per basic share a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 11.93 per basic share against JPY 34.21 per basic share a year ago.
YOKOWO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of various types of electronic equipment. The Company operates in three business segments. The Vehicle Communication equipment segment supplies various of on-board antennas covering broad frequency ranges, including those for inter-vehicle and road-to-vehicle communications in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems, in step with trends towards more compact composite models, media diversification and radio frequency identifier (RFID) support. The Circuit Testing Connectors segment provides connectors and test systems for the front to back-end testing. The Wireless Communication Equipment segment provides connectors for small mobile devices and point of sale (POS) devices.
