Wim Plast Ltd. Reports Unaudited Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended December 31, 2012

Wim Plast Ltd. announced unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported sales of INR 739.794 million compared to INR 624.413 million for the same period in 2011. Total income from operations was INR 640.060 million compared to INR 553.704 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, financial costs and exceptional items was INR 101.526 million compared to INR 89.030 million for the same period in 2011. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 101.528 million compared to INR 92.030 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 76.378 million or INR 12.73 per basic and diluted share compared to INR 65.235 million or INR 10.87 per basic and diluted share for the same period in 2011. Net sales were INR 638.56 million against INR 552.987 million a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported sales of INR 2,091.243 million compared to INR 1,579.439 million for the same period in 2011. Total income from operations was INR 1,822.538 million compared to INR 1,411.473 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, financial costs and exceptional items was INR 272.446 million compared to INR 214.938 million for the same period in 2011. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 285.411 million compared to INR 223.571 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 210.416 million or INR 35.06 per basic and diluted share compared to INR 159.356 million or INR 26.55 per basic and diluted share for the same period in 2011. Net sales were INR 1,818.89 million against INR 1,405.6 million a year ago.
