(Reuters) - Whitbread reiterated on Tuesday its annual forecast after the Premier Inn owner posted a dip in room revenue for the first quarter in the UK, as weekend bookings made shortly before the stay were slightly down especially in London.

The hotel group posted a 2% fall in revenue per available room (RevPAR) or room revenue - an important metric in the hospitality industry - for the 13-week period ended May 30 for Premier Inn UK.
