Waldron Energy Corporation announced that it has received CAD 2 million in funding from ANG Partners Ltd.

Waldron Energy Corporation (TSX:WDN) announced a private placement of 4,444,445 common shares at CAD 0.45 per share for gross proceeds of CAD 2,000,000 on December 19, 2013. The transaction will include participation from existing investor, ANG Partners Ltd. The transaction is subject to stock exchange and other approvals.

On December 30, 2013, the company announced that it has received one half of the proceeds. The remaining proceeds will be received on or before January 15, 2014.

On January 15, 2014, Waldron Energy Corporation closed the transaction.
