Bochum, 4 April 2023 - The Supervisory Board of Vonovia SE proposes Dr. Daniela Gerd tom Markotten for election to the Supervisory Board of the housing company at Vonovia's Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on 17 May 2023.
The long-standing members of the Supervisory Board Jürgen Fitschen, Prof. Edgar Ernst and Daniel Just have decided not to stand for re-election to the Supervisory Board. In December 2022, the Supervisory Board had therefore decided that Clara C. Streit - subject to her re-election - should take over from Jürgen Fitschen as Chair of the Supervisory Board.
Dr Daniela Gerd tom Markotten (48) has been a Member of the Management Board for Digitalisation and Technology of Deutsche Bahn AG since September 2021. From 2003 to 2020, she held various management positions at Daimler AG, most recently as Spokesperson and Member of the Management Board of Your Now Group and Managing Director of Reach Now Group. After graduating as an industrial engineer from the University of Karlsruhe, she completed her doctorate on IT security at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg.
