Mathias Carlbaum will remain a member of the Board of Management of VW commercial vehicle subsidiary Traton for a further five years.

The Munich-based truck and bus group announced on Monday evening that the Supervisory Board had confirmed Carlbaum as a member of the Traton Board of Management with effect from October 1, 2024 until September 2029. Carlbaum became head of the US truck manufacturer Navistar in September 2021 and has been a member of the Traton Executive Board since October 2021.
