Erkan Sen has informed that he, on his own request and with reference to his need to focus more on his family, has decided to leave his position as COO and deputy CEO of Vestum AB (publ) (”Vestum”). Vestum’s Board of Directors has appointed Simon Göthberg, who has been employed as Head of M&A at Vestum since May 2021, as new deputy CEO with effect from today’s date. Erkan Sen will be at Vestum’s disposal until the turn of the year.

Comments from Conny Ryk, CEO of Vestum:

First, I would like to thank Erkan Sen for his valuable contributions to Vestum. I fully understand that Erkan wants to focus more on his family. At the same time, it feels very satisfying that Simon Göthberg has been appointed as new deputy CEO. Simon is one of the co-founders of Vestum and he has played a central role in the creation of Vestum as a group with focus on civic infrastructure. Simon and I have worked closely together for several years and during his time at Vestum Simon has become a well-known face for investors. In addition to this, Simon is a natural leader, and he is also a highly appreciated employee among the entrepreneurs within the Vestum Group. I look forward to continuing to develop Vestum together with Simon.
