Notice of Changes in Representative Director

Universal Entertainment Corporation (the "Company") hereby announces that the Board of Directors has resolved at a meeting held today to make the following changes in our representative directors, effective April 26, 2024.

1. Background of the changes

As described in the "Notice Regarding Judgment in Shareholders' Representative Suit Against Representative Director of the Company" dated April 26, 2024, the Tokyo High Court ruled that Mr. Jun Fujimoto breached his fiducial duty or duty of loyalty as a director and was liable for compensation to the Company. He resigned from the position of Representative Director and President at the extraordinary meeting of the Board of Directors today.

The Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Hajime Tokuda as Representative Director and President and Mrs. Takako Okada as Representative Director.
