Uematsu Shokai Co.,Ltd. (TSE:9914) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 50,000 shares, representing 2.18% of its share capital, for ¥50 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to enhance shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency, as well as to enable a flexible capital policy in the future, treasury stock.
The share repurchase program will run until December 29, 2023. As of March 20, 2023, the company had 2,291,642 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 48,358 shares in treasury.
