UBS has appointed Neil Hosie as global head of execution services to replace outgoing Brent Johnson, who retires after 26 years at the firm. The role, which London-based Hosie had been carrying out on an interim basis since March, has been made permanent with immediate effect. He was previously head of global equities at Credit Suisse after spending 23 years in Asia.

He started his career at UBS in London. Johnson headed global execution services since the formation of the global markets team in 2021. Prior to that he was co-head of global markets and platforms, and held a number of different roles in the bank?s equities team.
