UACJ : Publishes UACJ Report 2022 (Integrated Report)

UACJ Corporation has published the UACJ Report 2022, an integrated report. This publication describes the UACJ Group's strategies for the future, provides an overview of its global business developments, as well as reporting on the Group's environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities, operating performance and financial information.

We have published the UACJ Report each year since 2015 in response to the growing need to for stakeholders in Japan and overseas to better understand our corporate information and competitive position. In this report, we describe our goals and challenges based on the corporate slogan "Aluminum lightens the world." As background, the report also explains market trends for the flat-rolled aluminum industry as a whole, helping even those who are learning about our company for the first time to understand our business environment. In addition, as part of our bid to make the world lighter, the report describes our progress on the third mid-term management plan and the structural reforms to be completed this fiscal year, as well as dialogues with investors that assess our activities and indicate capital markets' expectations of us. The report describes our perspective and aims for aluminum recycling, which will help to address the global issue of climate change by reducing environmental impact. In addition, the report introduces our sustainability initiatives, such as response to the climate change issue and human resource management.

The UACJ Group is accelerating its growth, aiming to support people's lives and industries through the study of aluminum, and to help solve environmental problems. We will continue to take advantage of every opportunity, including this publication and our website, to report the status of our activities to our stakeholders.

The Company was formed in 2013 through the business integration of Furukawa-Sky Aluminum Corporation and Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd.
