U-MEDIA Communications, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 480.334 million compared to TWD 416.098 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 25.241 million compared to TWD 28.690 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 23.100 million compared to TWD 48.683 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.71 compared to TWD 1.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.7 compared to TWD 1.48 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 840.787 million compared to TWD 720.677 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 36.592 million compared to TWD 35.870 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 33.235 million compared to TWD 38.586 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.02 compared to TWD 1.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.01 compared to TWD 1.17 a year ago.
