TXC Corporation announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 1,945.301 million compared to TWD 1,861.959 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 133.014 million compared to TWD 92.857 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 136.590 million compared to TWD 115.815 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.44 compared to TWD 0.37 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 3,568.241 million compared to TWD 3,731.254 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 190.849 million compared to TWD 227.283 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 214.319 million compared to TWD 199.817 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.69 compared to TWD 0.65 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.69 compared to TWD 0.64 a year ago.
TXC Corp is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture and sale of frequency control components and sensing components. The Company mainly operates the quartz component business. The main products include frequency components such as quartz crystals, quartz crystal resonators and quartz crystal oscillators, as well as various sensing components. The products are mainly used in mobile communication devices, information and storage equipment, Internet of Things (IoT), telecommunications equipment, artificial intelligence, medical and automotive electronics markets.
