Tsukishima Kikai Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended September 2019. The company reported Net sales of ¥38,033 million against ¥32,338 million a year ago. Operating profit of ¥1,574 million against loss of ¥603 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥1,398 million against ¥490 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was ¥31.70 against ¥11.06 a year ago.

The Water Environment segment is engaged in the design and construction of sludge disposal treatment plants for water filter and sewage treatment plants; the design, manufacture and sale of singular machineries; the operation, maintenance, management and repair of water filters and sewage treatment plants, as well as the digestion gas power generation project at a sewage treatment plant. The Industrial segment is engaged in the design and construction of plants for chemicals, steel, foods, liquid waste disposal and solid waste disposal; the design, manufacture and sale of crystallizers, filters, dryers, separators and among others. The other business is engaged in the printing and binding of large drawings, various documents, and the management and rental of office buildings and parking lots.
