Topcon Corporation announced the appointment of Mr. Makoto Iwasaki, currently director and senior managing executive officer, as representative director and senior managing executive officer. Reason for the change is multiple representative directors assigned in order to strengthen the risk management system. The company also appointed Mr. Hitoshi Sadachika, currently executive senior manager, Product Engineering Dept., Production Div., Mr. Hiroyuki Nishizawa, currently executive senior manager, Quality Assurance Dept., Quality Assurance Div., and Mr. Kinpui Chan, currently general manager, Topcon Advanced Biomedical Imaging Laboratory, Topcon Medical Systems Inc., as executive officers. The company promoted Mr. Yasufumi Fukuma, currently director and executive officer, general manager, Research & Development Div., as director and managing executive officer.
