Tokai Carbon to increase prices in Japan

Tokai Carbon announces revising the selling price of carbon black as follows.

  1. Price increase

    1. Scope: Carbon Black of all grades (for Japan)

    2. Effective date: February 1, 2017

    3. Price increase: 14.5 Japanese Yen / kg

    4. Background

      5. This price increase is required due to the raw material oil price which is escalating from last autumn. This significant cost increase is difficult to absorb only by our production cost reduction, measures and the price increase is necessary to ensure Tokai Carbon to maintain the stable supply of our high quality products and services.
