Tidehold Development Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 22.241 million compared to TWD 18.192 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 4.502 million compared to TWD 5.334 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 15.942 million compared to net loss of TWD 3.184 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.16 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.03 a year ago.
TIDEHOLD DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the trading of automobiles and construction materials. The Company mainly operates businesses through two segments. The Construction segment is engaged in the leasing and sales of shops and offices, as well as land development. The Trading segment is engaged in the trading of imported cars, special vehicles, such as garbage trucks and engineering cars, as well as construction materials, among others. The Company is also engaged in the leasing of properties and the leasing of passenger cars. The Company mainly operates businesses in the domestic market.
