The Company manufactures Katha, processes Gambier and trades spices. Its Catechu product is being used as mouth freshener with betel quid in India. Mouth fresheners, such as pan masala use Catechu as main ingredient with areca nuts and sometimes with chewing tobacco. Its Catechu product is also used as a flavoring agent in condiments, ice-creams, candy and beverages, among others. The Company's Catechu product is also used in the treatment of diarrhea, dysentery, ailments of mouth, gums, tonsils and others. Its Cutch product is a natural source for tannins (for tanning of leather). Its Cutch product has applications in oil-drilling, printing ink-pigments and adhesives, among others.
