The Chugoku Electric Power Co. Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2016. For the period, the company reported operating revenues of JPY 872,069 million compared to JPY 907,236 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 35,592 million compared to JPY 29,510 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 21,460 million compared to JPY 19,669 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 14,834 million compared to JPY 15,232 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 41.18 compared to JPY 42.04 a year ago.
The company provided consolidated and un-consolidated earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2017. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company expects operating revenues of JPY 1,191,000 million, operating income of JPY 28,000 million, recurring income of JPY 11,000 million and net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 4,000 million or JPY 11.23 per share.
For the year, on un-consolidated basis, the company expects operating revenues of JPY 1,113,000 million, operating income of JPY 24,000 million, recurring income of JPY 10,000 million and net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 10,000 million or JPY 28.05 per share.
