Telekom Austria Group has entered into a partnership with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. for distribution of Cartoon Network. The partnership encompasses the migration of Turner's Cartoon Network channel to Eutelsat 16A, for teleport- and satellite contribution services in Central and Eastern Europe. With its direct2home platform, Telekom Austria Group will act as a full technical contributor for the Cartoon Network CEE and Balkans feeds, having commenced on January 1, 2017. The partnership will allow Turner to optimize its satellite contribution services and secure a strong presence with Cartoon Network in both CEE and Balkan territories.
