Tekcore Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 140.810 million compared to TWD 147.090 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 22.909 million compared to TWD 27.689 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 23.502 million compared to TWD 16.409 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.24 compared to TWD 0.17 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 268.374 million compared to TWD 284.533 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 55.360 million compared to TWD 53.472 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 56.653 million compared to TWD 42.172 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.59 compared to TWD 0.44 a year ago.
TEKCORE CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sales of gallium nitride (GaN) blue, green and ultraviolet light emitting diode (LED) epitaxial wafers and chips. The Company's main products include GaN/gallium arsenide (GaAs) chips, quaternary products, related parts and materials and others. The Company is also involved in the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest areas of Asia and others.
