SUN&L Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 111,416.95 million compared to KRW 98,749.24 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 4,333.5 million compared to KRW 3,063.93 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 362 compared to KRW 334 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 362 compared to KRW 254 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 335,626.59 million compared to KRW 310,849.19 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 985.46 million compared to KRW 3,275.48 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 151 compared to KRW 573 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 78 compared to KRW 269 a year ago.
Sun&L Co Ltd, formerly Sunchang Corp, is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and sale of wood products. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Wood segment provides products such as plywood, medium-density fiberboards (MDFs), high density fiberboards (HDFs), lumber, particle boards (PBs) and other products. The Furniture segment is engaged in the production of wooden windows, furniture and interiors. The Other segment is involved in real estate leasing, forest development, other plastics manufacturing industries and others. The Company mainly distributes its products within domestic market.
