Sumitomo Seika Chemicals Company, Limited reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the period, the company reported net sales posted ¥78.085 billion, a 8.1% increase compared with the same period in the previous fiscal year. Operating income was ¥7.531 billion yen, a 5.6% decline from the same period in the previous fiscal year. Ordinary income amounted to ¥8.135 billion, a 9.0% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. Net income attributable to owners of the parent came to ¥5.489 billion, a 15.2% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. Net Income per share for the term was ¥398.04 against ¥345.43 million a year ago.
