St.Shine Optical Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,306.082 million compared to TWD 1,335.412 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 292.835 million compared to TWD 305.314 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 226.681 million compared to TWD 252.408 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.5 compared to TWD 5.01 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 4.47 compared to TWD 4.97 a year ago.
ST.SHINE OPTICAL CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of contact lenses. The Company mainly provides conventional contact lens, including rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lens and conventional soft contact lens, as well as disposable soft contact lens. It distributes its products under the Ticon brand. Its products include lathe-cutting and cast-molding contact lenses. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan market, as well as Japan, German, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, Italy and others.
