Spot Coffee (Canada) Ltd. announced that, upon obtaining the necessary building permit, has immediately begun construction of its first drive-thru, which will be added to its SPoT Transit location in Clarence, New York. The addition of the drive-thru provides an added revenue stream for this particular cafe, which is located in a high vehicular traffic area, in the form of a new quick serve option for patrons on the go.

Furthermore, SPoT announced the appointment of its new Vice-President of Franchise Operations, Mr. Mark R. Cornwell. Mr. Cornwell will be replacing Ms. Megan Burns-Moran, who has recently resigned from SPoT Coffee in order to pursue personal business goals. Mr. Cornwell lead a full team of district managers, restaurant managers and over 2,300 employees in Western New York during his time with McDonald's. He was responsible for increasing site locations from 9 to 43 in just 5 years, and managed 8 rebuilds and 4 relocations. Mr. Cornwell also managed vendor relationships and was personally responsible for purchase and sale agreements related to 35 acquisitions.
