SPI Energy Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 43.21 million compared to USD 38.96 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 13.44 million compared to USD 16.58 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.48 compared to USD 0.69 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 130.33 million compared to USD 118.4 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 22.6 million compared to USD 31.49 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.83 compared to USD 1.32 a year ago.
SPI Energy Co., Ltd. is a renewable energy company and provider of photovoltaic (PV) solutions for business, residential, government and utility customers and investors. The Companyâs segments include Renewable energy solutions and PV stations constructions and operations. The Company develops solar PV projects which are either sold to third party operators or owned and operated by the Company for selling electricity to the grid in multiple countries in Asia, North America and Europe.
