Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A. and the Northern California Toyota Dealers have reached a multi-year agreement with Infineon Raceway to serve as co-title of the annual NASCAR event in the Sonoma Valley, beginning in 2007.

The Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series weekend will take place, June 22-24, at Infineon Raceway, which is one of just two road courses on the 2007 NASCAR schedule. The partnership expands Toyota's NASCAR involvement ? the manufacturer will have three teams with seven cars utilizing the Toyota Camry in NEXTEL Cup competition next season and four cars in the Busch Series, as well as defending the manufacturer's championship in the Craftsman Truck Series.

This marks Toyota's first title sponsorship of a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series event. In addition to entitlement of the 19th annual NASCAR event at the Sonoma Valley facility, Toyota will also become the ?Official Vehicle of Infineon Raceway.?

"Toyota is looking forward to entering the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series in 2007 and to sponsoring the Toyota/Save Mart 350,? said Greg Gollands, National NASCAR Marketing Manager for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. ?This partnership between the Northern California Toyota dealers and Infineon Raceway will provide the local dealers with an opportunity to enhance relationships with local race fans and customers alike, as well as to work together with the track on special events. We are looking forward to next season and to another exciting NASCAR race in Northern California."

"We are thrilled to partner with a company as committed to motor sports as Toyota and the Northern California Toyota Dealers,? said Frank Gullum, Vice President of Sales at Infineon Raceway. ?Toyota will be a true asset in continuing Infineon Raceway's standing as a world-class motor-racing facility."

Some of the elements in the four-year partnership include:

-- Major marketing and promotional component in advance of the Toyota/Save Mart 350.

-- Toyota will host a comprehensive, interactive display for race fans during the June event.

-- Promotional rights to use the raceway name and logo.

?Infineon Raceway is one of the premier motor-sports venues on the West Coast and our new partnership will enable us to showcase the all-new 2007 ?Best In Class' full-size Toyota Tundra pickup and the entire lineup of Toyota vehicles,? said Henry Hansel, president of the Northern California Toyota Dealer Advertising Association.

Toyota will also serve as title sponsor of the raceway's annual NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series preview show on Fox Sports Net Bay Area. The 30-minute special, which will air a minimum of six times during the month of June, has been nominated for a sports Emmy award in past years.

"Toyota will be an outstanding partner for Infineon Raceway. They build terrific cars and trucks, they have an aggressive, promotion-minded dealer group and they are committed to a strong motor-sports program,? said Steve Page, President and General Manager at Infineon Raceway. ?We are excited about this partnership and the association with the Toyota brand."
