Sparebanken Hedmark reported unaudited consolidated and unconsolidated earnings results for 2011. The group reported net interest income of NOK 971 million, net commission and other income of NOK 285 million, net income of NOK 1,404 million against net interest income of NOK 918 million, net commission and other income of NOK 251 million, net income of NOK 1,528 million a year ago. Profit before tax was NOK 539 million against NOK 779 million a year ago. The decline in profit is attributed primarily to extraordinary income related to the card and payment transfer company Nordito AS in 2010 and higher result contribution from SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS. Cash flow from operations was NOK 432 million against NOK 1,747 million a year ago. Return on equity capital after tax was 7.4% against 12.6% a year ago. The company reported net interest income totalled NOK 871 million in 2011, compared with NOK 821 million in 2010. The net interest income as a percentage of the average total assets was 2.07%, compared with 1.97% in 2010. Net commission income was NOK 196 million in 2011, compared with NOK 207 million in 2010. The financial statements for 2010 included extraordinary income of NOK 9 million. Profit after tax totalled NOK 537 million in 2011, compared with NOK 665 million in 2010. The profit corresponded to 1.27% of the average total assets, compared with 1.57% in 2010. Cash flow from operations was NOK 525 million against NOK 1,702 million a year ago.
