Sonida Senior Living, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023. For the first quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 62.07 million compared to USD 58.48 million a year ago. Net income was USD 24.15 million compared to net loss of USD 16.68 million a year ago.
Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.88 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 2.81 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.76 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 2.81 a year ago.
Sonida Senior Living, Inc. is an owner-operator and investor in independent living, assisted living and memory care communities and services for senior adults. The Company provides resident-centric services and care as well as engaging programming operating about 72 housing communities in 18 states with an aggregate capacity of approximately 8,000 residents, including 62 communities which the Company owns and 10 communities that the Company manages on behalf of third parties. The Company provides residential housing and services to people aged 75 years and older, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. It provides independent living services to seniors, which include daily meals, transportation, social and recreational activities, laundry, housekeeping and 24-hour staffing. The Company also offers a range of assisted living care and services, including personal care services, 24-hour staffing, support services, and other supplemental services.
