Mcretail Sgps SA, formerly known as Sonae MC SGPS SA, is a Portugal-based company engaged in the retail business. The Company is the sub-holding of the Sonae Group and operates a portfolio of store chains offering food and non-food products in Portugal and Brazil. In Portugal, the Company's portfolio includes a number of Continente hypermarkets, Modelo mini-hypermarkets and Modelo Bonjour supermarkets. It also operates various non-food retail formats: Worten, an electronic and electric household appliance chain; Sportzone, Berg Outdoor, Berg Cycle and Deeply, Zippy and Losan, are retail brands specialized in clothing, apparel, sports equipment, and accessories and Sonae RP, operating as a retail real estate operator.
