CBRE Global Investors, a world leader in real estate investment management, is moving its French team into new offices in SFL's Edouard VII building in Paris' 9th arrondissement. The 2,200 square-metre space has been let under a six-year "green" lease.

The Edouard VII complex comprises 27,500 square meters of offices, retail units and theatres, located in the heart of the Opéra-Madeleine-Vendôme triangle. The building is ideally suited to the needs of CBRE Global Investors due to its high-quality location, services and technical features.

With this latest lease, SFL is pursuing its marketing drive, having affirmed its ability to meet the requirements of even the most demanding companies with its expertise in the Paris prime commercial property segment.

During the transaction, SFL was advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors was advised by CBRE and law firm ARES-Avocats.

With an exceptional portfolio of properties valued at ?3.2 billion including transfer costs, essentially located in the Paris Central Business District, SFL is a preferred vehicle for investors wishing to invest in the Paris office and retail property market. As the leading player in this market, the Group is firmly focused on pro-actively managing high-quality property assets. SFL has elected to be taxed as an SIIC since 2003.
