Sociedad Comercial del Plata SA is an Argentina-based holding company with presence in strategic sectors, such as construction, agribusiness, entertainment, energy, transportation, infrastructure and real estate. It operates through four segments: Construction, Oil and Derivatives, Entertainment and Others. The Construction segment produces construction materials, such as floors and ceramic coverings, bricks, shingles and high performing glass. The Oil and Derivatives segment includes the activities of exploration and production of oil and gas and gas transportation. The Entertainment segment manages the amusement park Parque de la Costa. The Others segment provides railway freight transportation services, develops real estate and reforest projects, develops food and nutraceuticals also for animals as well as is active in the biofuel industry, among others. The Company operates mostly nationally.
