Site signs another KSA training agreement

The Directors of Site Group International ("Site", ASX: SIT) are pleased to announce the signing of a third Training Services Agreement ("Agreement") with Al‐Ajmi Company ("Al‐Ajmi") to service the needs for the Saudi Aramco led Fadhili Gas Project in Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This three‐year contract is worth circa USD$9.5M (AUD$12M) in revenue for Site over 3 years (around USD$3.15M annually) and will develop 1800 Saudi workers to meet the immediate needs of the Eastern Province - the largest oil and gas producing region of Saudi Arabia.

The Agreement is for delivery of technical training programs by subsidiary Site Skills Training for the new Nairiyah Construction Training College (NCTC) in Nairiyah, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The competitive tender for the NCTC was won by the Consortium of Saudi national contractor Al‐Ajmi, Site and Canadian Petroleum Services (CPS) who will deliver the Foundation Program which includes English and soft skills with a special focus for Saudi youth.

The College will develop competent Saudi operators to meet the requirements of industry and assist with workforce nationalisation targets. The College and training programs are endorsed by Global Oil & Gas major Saudi Aramco with all graduates to be employed in the Fadhili Gas Plant. The training programs are for careers in electrical, instrumentation, pipefitting, welding, ironworks and carpentry trades.

Al‐Ajmi is a diversified Saudi company with projects in construction, real state and education in the Kingdom since 1980.

Dr Abdullah Al‐Ajmi, Managing Director of Al‐Ajmi commented, "This agreement further affirms Al‐ Ajmi's commitment to Saudization of workforces through the development of competent Saudi tradesmen building on the success of our training Institutes in Jazan Province supporting the Government's 2030 Vision."

Site's CEO and Managing Director Vernon Wills added, "The commitment Al‐Ajmi has for workforce nationalisation reflects Site's objectives for the development of national workforces that are competent and safe. This Agreement is evidence of Site's commitment to leading quality training across the Middle East. The Middle East is transforming it's workforce and economy through large workforce nationalisation programs, and at Site we see this as a growth area building on our successes in Australia and throughout the Asia and the Pacific," Mr Wills said. "We also thank our consortium partners Al‐Ajmi and CPS for the considerable goodwill and efforts."

The consortium is working towards further projects which are expected to be announced in the 17‐ 18 financial year. The NCTC contract in Nairiyah is in addition to contracts currently being delivered in Baish and Al Darb in Jazan for operator training.
