Site Market Update

The Directors of Site Group International ("Site", ASX: SIT) are pleased to provide a market update on the award of three projects and completion of a Singapore project.

SkillsFuture Singapore was successfully completed in recent days. The SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) project was for the development of the Skills Framework for the Energy and Chemicals sector. This project comprised:

  • 53 Job Profile 'Skills Maps' ranging from Junior Technicians to General Manager, each comprising: job description, five key categories for each job role, maximum of eight Key Tasks for each category and then the related technical skills and competencies associated with performing the key tasks;

  • 105 Technical Skills and Competency Reference Documents; and

  • 400 individual knowledge and abilities task profiles related to the relevant technical skills and abilities.

The project included over 30 separate Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with the Energy and Chemical industry, where the detailed documents were presented and reviewed with the clients from this sector. The inclusion and acceptance of the industry was a major success factor for this project.

The CEO of Site Group International: Energy, Phil Costelloe commented "The development of a national skills framework for the Energy and Chemicals sector was a major undertaking, especially given the maturity and expertise that already sits within this particular sector. From the outset, the aim was to ensure we heard all the voices from the different clients and produce a framework that can be used as a national benchmark, not just for now but for years to come. We believe we achieved these aims and the whole experience of working with SSG and being part of this Singapore national initiative will lead to further work with the clients involved."
