Sidus Space announced the successful delivery of two electronic LCS cabinets to Bechtel as part of NASA's mobile launcher 2. These cabinets, integral to the Launch Control System, mark a significant milestone in Sidus Space's contribution to NASA's Artemis Campaign aimed at lunar exploration and colonization. Furthermore, Sidus Space is continuing production of additional cabinets in a separate purchase order, reaffirming its commitment to supporting future missions. The delivery of electronic LCS cabinets underscores Sidus Space's commitment to excellence in aerospace technology.

Sidus has collaborated with Bechtel to fabricate custom cables and populate unique electronics cabinets supporting the launch control subsystem and ground special power subsystems. Mobile launcher 2 serves as the crucial ground platform structure for launching Space Launch System (SLS) rockets Block 1B and Block 2 configurations. These larger, more powerful configurations are designed to fulfill NASA?s goal of transporting astronauts and heavy cargo to the moon as part of the agency?s Artemis Campaign.
